  • 1 cup Ahimsa Jowar Flour or cracked jowar
  • ½ cup moong dal
  • 1 small carrot (chopped)
  • ½ cup peas
  • 1 small tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp Ahimsa A2 Cultured Ghee
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 cups water

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh coriander
  • Black pepper
  • Extra spoon of ghee

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Wash & Prepare

Rinse the moong dal thoroughly and keep aside. Prepare and chop all vegetables before cooking.

Step 2 — Heat The Ghee

In a pressure cooker or deep pan, heat Ahimsa A2 Cultured Ghee on low flame. Add cumin seeds and ginger and allow the aroma to release gently.

Step 3 — Add Vegetables

Add carrots, peas, and tomatoes. Cook lightly for 2–3 minutes until slightly soft.

Step 4 — Add Dal & Jowar

Add moong dal, jowar, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.

Step 5 — Cook Until Soft

Add water and cook until the mixture becomes soft and creamy.

Step 6 — Finish & Serve

Top with fresh coriander, black pepper, and a spoon of warm ghee. Serve hot.
